$21 The Puteri Pacific JB Hotel Staycation!

Another cheap hotel booking using Hotelquickly for our weekend trip to JB.
To know how I get people to redeem my code to earn a almost free staycation, you may refer to my previous post Pan Pacific Marina Singapore. Even without the invite codes vouchers, the prices using this app is roughly 30-50 cheaper compare to agoda/expedia.

We decided to stay here because of its location and being one of the few 5 Stars Hotel in Johor Bahru

 The hotel is just 2 streets across City Square

 You will be able to see the hotel when you come out of city square

 Nice and huge hotel lobby

 We didn't know how big was the room so we decided to get 2 rooms as it only cost $21 per room

Somehow the hotel layout seems to be the same as Pan Pacific Marina Singapore

Now we know why this hotel is so alike Pan Pacific after seeing Pan Pacific logo around this hotel

Huge hotel room which can comfortably accommodate 3 persons or squeeze 4 person. If we know the room is so big, we may just book one room and request for a bigger one.

 We went to swim at about 7am to 9am and surprisingly we are the only one swimming. Beside the pool there bathing facilities & gym room.

Ok here come our rating for this hotel

Service - 5/5 - The hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly. They will help us to get cab, give us recommendation of the food & places of interest in JB.

Location - 5/5 - 5minutes walk from custom/shopping mall/bus interchange

Rooms - 3.5/5 - We booked 2 rooms and both overall are ok just small defects and rooms furnish are abit old but still well maintain. 1st room, although is a non-smoking room but you can smell quite strong smoke smell and the shower temperature is abit faulty. 2nd room just that the remote control is without battery. I believe the staffs can easily help us to resolve this issues but since most of the time we are not in hotel so we didn't get them to resolve this issues.

Cleanliness - 4/5 - clean but because of the old look which make it looks dirty.

Sleep Quality - 4.5/5 - We sleep pretty well, as the pillow and bed are quite confortable.

Wifi - 3/5 - Wifi reception inside room may be poor at times but works fine if you are near to the hotel room corridor.
