Going back to nature in Singapore, Pulau Ubin hunting durians and hiking up the highest hill

We are going back to the nature! Pulau ubin is one of the one of the last areas in Singapore that has been preserved. If you are someone who love nature, Pulau Ubin will be a place you will like.

Below is a map of Pulau Ubin and some of the attractions

How to get to Pulau Ubin from Singapore mainland
Take a bumboat from Changi Point Ferry Terminal, which is near the Changi Village Hawker Centre.
Address: 51 Lorong Bekukong (S)499172
It will cost about S$2.50 per person per trip.

Getting around Pulau Ubin
One of the easy and healthiest way to around is to rent a bicycle. We got 1 person single bicycle at S$8 and 2 perons bicycle at S$14.

Conquering Pulau Ubin Highest Hill

Very nice view towards Singapore Mainland
It took us about less than 20minutes to conquer this hill

 Check Jawa
In this place you can see many wild boar

Singapore colonial cottage and Costal Boardwalk where you can see many plants and animals in this coastal forest that are no longer commonly seen on mainland Singapore.

Durians
Yes! You can find many durians trees there and if you are lucky, you may be able to pick up some Pulau ubin durians which is quite nice.

For us, we do not have any luck with durians so we have buy the durians from the locals instead.

It cost S$6 per kg

It actually taste quite delicious and creamy

By just exploring so little places it took us about 6hours. If you will like to know more on Pulau ubin you can consider visiting this 2 sites which more information NPARK or WildSingapore.
