The Pines Melaka Staycation with Pool by the Bed

Yes! What make us choose this hotel for our weekend staycation was all because of its beautiful pool side suite.

The Pines Melaka is located in the heart of Malacca, just minutes from the city's main dining and entertainment district and key tourist attractions. About 10-20minutes walk to Jonker Street.

During our stayed here with my friends, we tried out both their Pool Side Suite and Superior room. For this 2 rooms there are no bathtubs, if you are looking for bathtubs you can try out their Premier room.

During our check ins the receptions are very friendly and helpful which assisted us to connect to their hotel WiFi but sadly we are unable to check in the pool side suite which we are most excited about as it wasn't read due to the earlier guest didn't check out on time. So we check it the superior room first while waiting for the pool side suite.

The Superior room is huge and the bed is comfortable. So instead of waiting for the pool side room which will be ready in 1-2hours time, we went to Jonker Street to eat and shop. Do stay tuned my blog for my Jonker Street post.

After coming back from Jonker Street, our Pool side room is finally ready to check in!

If you will like to dine in the room, do order before 6pm as after 6pm they will be short handed and you will need to wait after their dinner buffet hours before which is about 9 before they continue to serve their in room dinning.

Ok here come our rating for The Pines Melaka.

Service - 3/5 - The hotel staffs are approachable and friendly but I feel that they are short handed.

Location - 3.5/5 - Located in the heart of Malacca

Rooms - 5/5 - Love the Pool side suite

Cleanliness - 4.5/5 - clean and new

Sleep Quality - 4.5/5 - Bed and pillow are very comfortable.

Wifi - 4/5 - Speed ok
