Here is our blog review on the new hotel in Malaysia, Johor Bahru KSL Hot Spring Resort that opened in July 2018, while we are still enjoying our staycation and soaking myself in the hot spring now :D

Airbnb Nightmare!

Our apartment got cancelled! What make the matter worst is that our apartment got cancelled on the day when we are supposed to check in.

This whole incident happened 2 days ago and I'm still feeling exhausted from this whole incident while I'm trying to pen it down on my blog.

Can you imagine after a long hours flight with your heavy luggage to a foreign land that you are not familiar with and you have no place to stay? How frustrating and tire will it be when you need to find another place to stay at such a short notice?

Marina Bay Sand has three hotel towers with 2,500 rooms and suites. The hotel is also topped by a 340m-long SkyPark with a capacity of 3,900 people and a 150m infinity swimming pool, set on top of the world's largest public cantilevered platform. 

As for us we stayed at The Club Room with city view located at 36floor to celebrate SG50!

Take Singapore Airline and spent less than S$1500 for 10days in Korea

Yes! You can easily spent less than 1.5K by taking Singapore Airlines and inclusive of accommodation, transport, food and entertainment!

We decided to blog about our Korea trip again as many of our friends are still curious about how we can spent below this amount while we seems to spend a lot when going Korea. So this time round we decided to go more detail on our spending.

So, let us do a quick maths here.

$21 Pan Pacific Marina Staycation to celebrate 1st Anniversary & Chingay

We are fortunate to be able to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary at Pan Pacific Marina with a staycation! Thanks to Hotelquickly, we booked the room for only SGD$21. If not because of this apps, we will not have the chance to experience this wonderful stay and celebration at Pan Pacific.

 

Our honeymoon @ the land of kimchi (Korea) for 13D12N below S$6000!

Short brief about us (Mr & Mrs Tam Chiam Meow).
We are official husband and wife on 1 Mar 14. Our honeymoon destination is set to be the land of kimchi(Korea) and a duration of 13days (3 Mar to 15 Mar 14)!
We decided to blog on our honeymoon as many of our friends are curious how we spent below S$6000 for a 13 days trip in korea. And it is inclusive of everything. Yes, everything! Inclusive of our accomodation, airfare, spending, etc. On top of that, we took SQ flight.
So now, be prepare for our long long post...

1st, air ticket. We booked SQ flight to korea. U must be thinking that it not going to be cheap and it will  at least costs us ard $2000~$3000. Yes, thats the usual price without promotion. But.....we bought our tickets at promotion rate, which only costs us $1284 for 2pax! And we don't need to top up for extra weight for checked in baggages (30kg allowances) and also meals on board. So compared to budget airlines, it going to be around the same prices after factor in all the miscellaneous fees. So why would we choose budget airlines over SQ? And most budget airlines will have at least 1 transit stop and duration at least 8.5hrs as compare to direct flight of 6.5hrs. Other than the flight to Korea, we also bought the air ticket to Jeju island, Gimpo airport to Jeju airport. We choose Jeju air , which costs us around S$180 for 2 pax.
